Matcha’s popularity is reshaping the whole market. Japan’s matcha production is at its limit, and prices have risen across the board.

The 2026 matcha season has begun, and with it our new pricing model. The quality stays the same. We’re not cutting corners on the matcha your customers come back for.

Because we built our farm relationships in Uji early, our supply stays secure and better protected from the shortage.

To help offset this year’s increase, we are introducing partnership tiers, based on how much you have ordered over the past 12 months. You move up automatically as your volume grows.

For our 1 kg pouches, the new prices are:

• Standard Partner rate: 335 CHF, under 24 kg per year
• Advanced: 314 CHF, 24 to 60 kg per year
• Priority: 304.85 CHF, from 60 kg per year

We are so happy with all the new cafés joining the matcha⁷ network, and just as thankful for the ones who have stuck with us from the beginning.
